<p>Either way, the message being sent, and being received is NO TRUST!   No trust in your staff’s ability to do their job, and No trust in your own management ability.   It is soul destroying and Team crushing.</p>
<p>So¸How often should you catch up with the heads of your department, or your staff in order to support them without micro-managing them.</p>
<p>So many opinions, but many agree that an inclusive approach works.   Regular meetings (weekly) to discuss issues, problems and strategies for the forthcoming period.    This allows for individuals to be confident in their position , be accountable and have team support.   It also provides updates for management re timelines and progress.</p>
<p>Each manager is given the opportunity to present an overview of the previous week, and its impact on the company; relevant issues and proposed methods of managing them are tabled for discussion.    A short activity plan for the upcoming week is also presented.</p>
<p>This ‘on the table’ approach encourages colleagues to ask for and receive support from each other.  Offering solutions to problems, and indeed, to pre-empt future problems.   With this team support, the need for micro-management is minimized.   An open door policy for private meetings is always essential for serious issues.</p>
<p>Micro-management can be further minimized at the beginning of employment. Realistic position statements, clearly defined lines of accountability, and a sense of ownership and pride for the company aids individuals to take responsibility for their role .</p>

So, colon healthy recipes will include little or no animal foods and be based mainly on whole grains, fruits and vegetables.  In addition to good colon health, using recipes made with these foods will have a pronounced effect on your overall health in general.</p>
<p>Vegetables and fruits are very colon friendly and can be processed or digested quite easily by the body.  They contain a variety of vitamins and minerals as well as enzymes and fiber- all things that are essential to good health.  Fiber, in particular, is good for your colon health as it adds bulk which helps to pass the food along the digestive tract.</p>
<p>One simple and easy breakfast recipe could be a fruit salad with oatmeal (not the packaged or instant stuff).  Natural fruit juice can be quite healthy too although it does not have fiber and drinking a lot of water will help with the digestive process.  </p>
<p>Always try to include a salad for lunch with lots of dark leafy greens.  Stay away from the iceburg and try to include romaine lettuce and spinach as these have more vitamins. Instead of bottled dressing which is probably loaded with sugar, try olive oil and vinegar- you might even mix in some fresh herbs and create your own salad dressing recipe!</p>

If you need something crunchy try spreading all natural peanut butter on celery (this can also help to satisfy any cravings for sweets).  </p>

Try cutting down on the red meat and eating fresh fish along with a salad and perhaps some steamed broccoli, zucchini and carrots.  If you need something more substantial try adding brown rice, corn on the cob or potatoes. </p>

And besides, who has time to prepare it? You do! Here are two delicious recipes that can get you started on the road to healthful and tasteful eating for your heart. And they&#8217;re easy to make!<br />
Baked Dijon Chicken (4 servings)<br />
Ingredients:<br />
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast (or you can use turkey), removed of visible fat<br />
2 Tbl. lemon or lime juice<br />
1 Tbl. course-grained or Dijon mustard<br />
1/8 tsp. black pepper<br />
1/2 tsp. minced garlic (from a bottle works nicely)<br />
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.<br />
Rinse the chicken and pat it dry and arrange it in a glass baking dish.<br />
Using a small bowl, stir together all the remaining ingredients and spread over the top of the chicken. Do this piece by piece.<br />
Bake uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes. The chicken should be tender and no longer pink. </p>
<p>Rosemary Turkey With Mushrooms (4 servings)<br />
This is a treat that you can serve company. It is an elegant and delicious dish.<br />
Ingredients:<br />
1 pound turkey breast tenderloin slices<br />
1/2 c. chicken broth, low sodium<br />
1/8 tsp. each black pepper and salt<br />
1 Tbl. cornstarch<br />
2 Tbl. balsamic vinegar<br />
8 oz. chanterelle or button mushrooms; these should be cleaned, trimmed, and sliced<br />
1/4 c. shopped onions or shallots<br />
1 tsp. fresh rosemary or 1/4 tsp. dried rosemary<br />
Rinse and pat dry turkey and set aside.<br />
Use a small bowl to stir together broth, salt and pepper, and cornstarch. Set this aside.<br />
Use vegetable oil cooking spray to coat a large skillet and place it over medium-high heat.<br />
Add half the turkey to the hot skillet and cook about two minutes on each side. The turkey should be tender and no longer pink. Set aside and do the same to the other half of the turkey. Remove the skillet from the heat, and keep the turkey warm.<br />
Add the vinegar and rosemary to the skillet. Scrap up all of the brown bits from the bottom of the pan. Then, put the skillet back on the heat and use it to cook the mushrooms and onions (or shallots). It should take about five minutes for the mushrooms to become tender.<br />
Stir in the set aside broth mixture. It will take about three minutes for it to become a sauce, thickened and bubbly. Cook for two more minutes after that, stirring constantly. This sauce is served with the turkey. For an elegant tough, the turkey can be served on a bed of fresh rosemary.<br />
Once you know what you can do to  enjoy healthful meals without sacrificing the flavor, you can take better care of your body and of your heart. And that is a delicious proposition.<br />

Let us see what a healthy lifestyle means. For the most part a person who lives a healthy lifestyle does not smoke, eats a healthy diet, exercises, and maintains a healthy weight.<br />
All of these may sound easy and the big deal is that it is easy. It requires that one make lifestyle choices. The key is to make changes slowly so it does not shock your system and your body will be able to handle the changes. In this way, your body will be able to accept and create a new habit. Small changes like drinking another glass of water or adding a few more steps to your routine, and even starting to add fruits to your cereal are just a few of the possible changes you can make. The problem we tend to have here in America is that we are too sediment. Exercise is required as a part of healthy lifestyles. Many people seem to think that exercise has to be a certain amount of vigorous action.<br />
However, the truth is that any movement is movement and it will help. Any activity will help even if it is as simple an activity as gardening. Any moderate activity will be a big help. Doing your regular chores, cleaning house, and maintaining the yard are a few examples. Just adding a little activity to your daily life will do some of the following for you. You can reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke and diabetes. It will reduce stress and enhance self-esteem. Exercise can improve memory for older folks. Even the small amount of activity will improve your life in many ways. A small change and moderate weight loss will derive many health benefits in your life. Just 10% weight loss from obese patients will reduce blood pressure, cholesterol and increase longevity according to a health study.</p>

As you can imagine, everyone flocked to the health food stores and wiped out the nations supply of coconut oil. Manufacturers could not keep up with the demand for high quality virgin coconut oil. During this time, several companies started peddling a very inexpensive, highly processed and refined coconut oil that was very appealing to the pocketbook.</p>
<p>Once again, coconut oil is back in the headlines and consumers are out shopping for the best value. Buyer beware&#8230; this low grade coconut oil does not hold the same promise as the high quality organic, virgin grade. The low grade coconut oil starts out with coconuts that are split and left outside in the open to dry out. Due to the high heat and humidity in the tropics, the coconuts are susceptible to growing mold and attracting germy flies. From there, harmful solvents are used for extracting the oil and more chemicals are used to bleach it back to its original white color. All the health benefits have now been destroyed and what is left is odorless, tasteless and bleached oil that can actually cause your body harm to consume it.  I also want to mention that most salad and cooking oils that are sold at the market are also highly refined and manufactured basically the same way as I described above. Always make sure all the oils you consume are cold pressed (no chemical solvents or heat used) and preferably organic. </p>
<p>To reap the health benefits of coconut oil, it must be organic and virgin. This means that the coconuts are organically grown without any pesticides or herbicides. They are then &#8220;hand- or &#8220;mechanically- pressed without the use of solvents. You end up with creamy, naturally white oil that has a delightful smell of coconuts.  </p>
<p>In addition to the fat burning and thyroid stimulating benefits that coconut oil has to offer, it also is known for improving conditions such as chronic fatigue, Crohn&#8217;s, IBS, and diabetes to name a few. It is rich in lauric acid which has antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties. It is known to reduce the risk of heart disease and lower cholesterol. </p>
<p> You can use coconut oil for cooking, on salads, spread over toast, vegetables or added to protein drinks. It does not even have to be refrigerated. Room temp is fine. It has a shelf life of 1-2 years.</p>
<p>Coconut oil can be used topically for moisturizing and toning. It makes the skin feel like silk, even on those with extremely dry skin. It also helps to prevent sagging and wrinkling by keeping the connective tissues strong. It will remove the outer layer of dead skin cells, making the skin smother giving a more youthful appearance.</p>

Healthy snacks for adults are completely different from those of children, even if your children find themselves taking. The reason is because of the energy content of these snacks. <p>The good thing with you preparing healthy snacks for adults rather than buying is because those which are meant for commercial purposes at times may contain certain elements that are not good for consumption. Remember that even if they are calling them healthy snacks for adults, they are still in business, you know what I mean, the primary objective it to make profit-right? Thus, of you can make the snacks yourself, you will get the time to incorporate the important ingredients when you are making it. Thus, chances of having fat elements on your snacks are already less. </p>
